"We were managed by Floyd Philips from Starshine
Productions in Warren. If memory serves me
correct he also managed Morley Grey at the time. We would open up for Black Oak Arkansa and he sent us to Buffalo
NY a lot to play various clubs up there. One
particular was the "Chalet". Bad Company often
played this club also. We had roadies and a
truck and all that. All we ever did was jump on
stage and play. We even had our guitars tuned
for us. We wore spandex pants and my trademark
were the horse hair boots (haha)" |
"The band gained a good
local following playing The Agora, The Arcade, RJ's,
Bonnie & Clyde's, Foxie's ( The Patio), The Old Barn (
Teen Dances), area High School dances, YSU, and many
WHOT Idora Park Spring Thing's.
Ironically, they played the grand opening at The
Arcade, and a little known fact to the best of our
knowledge, they were the last band to play the club
known as The Agora. Although the club did continue
under different names in the following years.
They decided to call it quits in 1984." |
